Apply In Italy For Italian Dual Citizenship

Full service consular application

Our popular full service consular Italian dual citizenship application includes:

  • Original, certified copy of your ancestor’s Italian birth certificate
  • Certified copy of all birth, marriage, death, and naturalization records for all applicable ascendants between you and your last Italian-born ancestor
  • Certified copy of your birth, and marriage certificate (if applicable)
  • Translations of your records
  • Legalizations (apostilles) of your records

In New York State (outside the 5 boroughs of New York City), birth records for deceased individuals cannot be obtained without a court order. Unless the deceased individual’s parents are still alive and able to obtain the record themselves, we will need to file an Article 78 petition on your behalf to unseal these records. Court orders require an additional fee.

Note: If your paperwork presents any glaring discrepancies we feel may pose a problem for your application, we will try to rectify them without any outside court orders. If we feel the discrepancies require a court order or further remedy, we will let you know before starting work on said remedies or court order.
